Begin with the load
Review facility schedules, interval usage, peak demand and the operating context that shapes consumption.
Midas is developing an ERCOT-focused retail platform for commercial and industrial customers in Houston and the CenterPoint territory. The market model is being built around customer load, wholesale procurement, hedging and risk oversight.
Our planned approach links forecasting, procurement and market operations to the customer's actual load. Our intended structure is an Option 2 REP / Load Serving Entity with our own Qualified Scheduling Entity capability.
Review facility schedules, interval usage, peak demand and the operating context that shapes consumption.
Consider wholesale price, load shape, congestion, imbalance, weather and customer budget priorities.
Planned structures may include fixed, index, block-and-index or layered procurement arrangements, subject to approvals and final terms.
Develop portfolio controls for hedge positions, credit, collateral, stress scenarios and settlement exposure.
These are capabilities under development and descriptions of intended approach. Midas is pre-launch and does not currently represent that it is authorized to provide retail service. No structure is available for enrollment at this time.
